HENNESSY NIGHT BLAZE GHANA LAUNCH ’24

On Protecting the Moment

The audience should remember the experience—not the work it took to protect it.

When Hennessy Night Blaze arrived in Ghana, the objective wasn’t simply to launch a new product. It was to introduce it in a way that felt unmistakably connected to the market while remaining true to the global campaign.

Inspired by the product’s bold identity and fiery visual language, ALOD developed an immersive launch experience that transformed Sky Bar into the first chapter of a four-venue journey across Accra. From the guest arrival and reveal sequence to branded installations designed for reuse across subsequent venues, every element was conceived as part of a cohesive campaign rather than a single evening.

The experience unfolded through carefully choreographed moments. Guests were welcomed with signature Night Blaze cocktails before moving through spaces designed to build anticipation ahead of the product reveal. At the heart of the evening, a traditional dance ensemble, live percussion, and a bespoke hydraulic reveal brought together contemporary luxury and cultural expression in one unforgettable moment.

Not everything unfolded exactly as rehearsed.
When the reveal mechanism unexpectedly failed moments before its cue, careful contingency planning ensured the experience continued seamlessly. Guests remained immersed in the story, unaware that anything had changed.

The strongest productions aren’t defined by flawless execution. They’re defined by the ability to protect the experience when circumstances change.

Over the days that followed, the campaign continued across Mood Bar, Front/Back, and Ace Night Club, where the reveal finally unfolded exactly as originally imagined.
