Following the completion of The Denya One-Bedroom, we were commissioned to decorate another investment property – this time a two-bedroom apartment at Eden Apartments in East Airport.
The objective was straightforward: create a warm, cohesive home that would appeal to long-term tenants while making considered use of the client’s budget.
Our approach began with the space itself.
Rather than competing with the apartment’s existing charcoal-grey tiles, we worked with them, introducing warmth through textiles, artwork and greenery. A carefully considered palette of red, grey, white and neutral tones gave the apartment personality without overwhelming it.
Furniture, artwork, curtains, carpets and decorative pieces were sourced individually, with each decision considered not only for how it looked, but for how it would perform over time.
Durability mattered.
So did flexibility.
We considered how pieces would withstand repeated use, how fabrics would age, and how much value the landlord could continue to extract from each purchase before replacement became necessary.
Local artist Mina Evans was commissioned to create additional artwork within the established palette, bringing a layer of originality and local character to the finished apartment.
From sourcing and procurement through delivery, installation, styling and professional photography, ALOD managed the process from an empty apartment to a market-ready home.
The finished space was warm, cohesive and immediately liveable.
And, like the project before it, it was designed with one question in mind:
Would someone walk in and immediately see themselves living here?
