THE MAGNA CARTA ’26

oN Transformation

When an experience has become a tradition, every new chapter must surpass the last.

As Villa Grace celebrated ten years of hospitality, The Magna Carta returned with one of its most ambitious transformation yet. Commissioned by Fred Apaloo III, Let’s Be Seated and Big Ideaz reimagined the signature glass marquee as an immersive garden atrium, setting the stage for an experience unlike any previous edition.
Working alongside every creative, hospitality, and production partner, ALOD led the coordination behind the transformation, aligning people, timelines, and operations to deliver an evening where every detail unfolded exactly as intended.

Act I — Into the Garden

The experience began long before guests entered the marquee.
A woodland-inspired arrival invited guests to pause, explore, and capture the moment before stepping into the world beyond. It was more than an entrance – it was the opening chapter of the evening.

Act II — Beneath the Glass

Inside, the venue revealed itself as a lush garden atrium.
A sculptural bar anchored the space while carefully zoned seating, layered greenery, and Villa Grace’s signature culinary theatre created an atmosphere where hospitality, design, and conversation moved together effortlessly.

Act III — After Dark

As dinner gave way to performance, the atmosphere shifted.
R2Bees brought nostalgia to the stage before DJ Loft carried the celebration into the early hours, transforming an elegant dinner into the season’s most anticipated finale.
Behind the scenes, months of planning, vendor coordination, logistics, and production came together so the experience could simply be enjoyed.
